Cosmic Mural for Eden Seattle
Cosmic UV reactive mural for the unisex restrooms at Eden Seattle event club. About 10' off the ground and 6' tall.
Completed over four weeks the mural wraps around the tops of the restrooms, providing an out-of-this-world view.

Preliminary studies on Panel.
-
Studies I did on wood panels to test painting techniques and to get a feel for how the UV paint would mix with itself and with regular paint --which I used to create variation in the glow and to enhance the look of the mural when viewed under white light. Part of the challenge when doing this project was understanding how the colors would look under the violet of a blacklight and under white light. I did my best to make sure that the mural would look good under both lighting situations.
